REHEARSALS

I would highly recommend you have a rehearsal (walk through) before the ceremony at the place you have chosen to be married.

It is a good idea to have the rehearsal at the same time of day as your ceremony is going to take place, especially if it is outdoors. This way you will see how the sun is positioned; if there is heavy traffic near the parking area and if it is busy with other activities.

You will have the chance to practise your vows and give children the opportunity to learn where they have to walk and the pace they should go.

The things we will go through at the rehearsal are -

Where to stand if the sun is a factor.

The entrance of the bridal party and where they will stand.

What props are required - chairs, table, PA system etc.

What time will the guests be arriving and when should the groom arrive.

What time will I arrive.

Is there protection from the wind and rain (if that should be a factor).

Any concerns the couple may have about the ceremony.

Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it.
